Hairy Days Are Gone Again!

I finally gave Harley his Spring haircut, even though there is snow on the ground. He hates the process, but loves the outcome. Here are his before and after shots!!

Exciting and Busy Day!!

As you can see by the last picture. We are having a GIRL!!!! Well, maybe you can't see. It's hard to tell what's what, but I trust the experts on this one! We are so excited. The Ultrasound Dr. said that everything looked good, and she is measuring at 18 weeks and 4 days. And can I just say that I knew that my due date was supposed to be a week later!! But she kept my due date the same!! I'll have to talk to the midwife about this. I know that my menstrual cycles are longer, so I knew that I conceived a week later than their little wheel tells them. Don't they know that all women are not the same?!! Why does no one listen to me....? Sheesh. Oh well! I am supposed to go back in a month for another ultrasound so they can see more details of the heart, brain, and spine. After the ultrasound, we went and bought a little girl outfit. It's soo freaking cute, I can't stand it. Another cool thing is that we can now start talking about names. I don't think we are going to be telling anyone what names we are considering though. We should leave something as a surprise, don't ya think?
In other news, we put in an offer for the condo we have been looking at. We should hear back from the agent by tomorrow night. If we get to close on this place, we will post some pictures later.
PS. We also got 4 new tires on our car!!

3 Years and Counting....

Today is our 3rd Anniversary!! It sure seems to have flown by. I remember meeting Jordan while he served a mission in Texas. I didn't really think much of him, there was no "love at first sight" or any of that from me. He says he was captivated by my hair the first time he saw me. He can tell his side another time. As I got to know Jordan, he became a great friend. It wasn't until after his mission that I was thinking there was something to this guy. He came back to Texas and it was all over for me then. He is such a great man and an even greater husband.
It has been a fun three years with it's ups and downs. We have moved 4 times since we've been married and hopefully again soon. Our family grew by 2 cats, although one is currently MIA. We are looking forward to our family growing by one more person this year.
We don't have any crazy plans for tonight. We will be going to dinner at the Texas Road House and just hanging with each other.

Homeward Bound

Jordan and I went and looked at a few properties today. It was fun and scary at the same time. We both feel nervous about growing up with purchasing our own place and having a baby. What are we thinking?
We are excited too. There are a couple of potential places that we liked. We are having the Realtor do some research on the ones we liked. We are hoping to find a place soon!! We will keep you guys updated on our journey to a new home.

Once Upon A Pregnancy!!

So I think this whole pregnancy thing is for me. I love being pregnant! The only symptom I've had , really, is being totally exhausted during the first trimester. Now that I have just entered the 5th month, I am feeling lots of energy and looking forward to feeling this little one kick for the first time. I guess I am having a bit of trouble getting comfortable at night. I am using 5 pillows to sleep with now, so it's not so bad. I'm looking into getting one of those pregnancy pillows, but they are a bit expensive!! Only 11 days until our ultrasound!! I can't wait to get started on a quilt for this little one. Just hope he/she won't be shy. Jordan is feeling that it's a boy, I started out thinking it's a girl, but I've had a dream about a boy, so I have no idea. I only care that it's a healthy baby!!

Well, I gotta go eat something now!!

Welcome!!

So Jordan and I wanted to make it easy for our family and friends far and wide to be able to be "in the know" with how things are going in our little family. So we decided (using "we" very loosely) to start a blog. Also I wanted to because TyLeen started one and I really wanna be like her when I grow up. Enjoy!
