Daddy's Girl. June 28, 2010

There was a time when Aislin would only let me hold her.
Things have changed.
As soon as Jordan gets home from work she is stuck to him like glue.
I just love to see how much they love each other.

It makes my heart happy.

Thought. June 25, 2010

I just love this picture of Aislin. I took it at a fund-raising car wash. I don't know why, but this picture is a favorite. I especially love the remnants of Cheetos on her face. Man I love this kid.

Feeding Ducks. June 23, 2010

We love to take Aislin down to this place in Springville that has a ton of ducks just waiting to be fed. The ducks are so used to people feeding them, that as soon as they saw our car stop they started to come out of the water and waddle toward us.

Aislin just loves to chase the ducks around.

I love that I got her in mid throw. She couldn't figure out that we were pulling pieces off the bread and tossing it. She just wanted to throw the entire piece.

Jordan and I were both able to feed a duck out of our hands. That's how tame they are.

Aislin started to get annoyed that the ducks were running from her. She just wanted to touch one of them.

Fun In The Sun. June 18, 2010

One of the ladies in our ward hosts a water day every week during the summer. We were able to go to one before Aislin's surgery. She LOVES playing in water.

Sister Haslam even has yummy snacks to eat.

Aislin loved the watermelon especially. She would take a couple bites out of one piece and put it back in the pan before picking up another piece. I noticed it after she had done this a few times.

I just love her chubby little body.

This little dog sprinkler was her favorite.

She loved trying to touch the water.

Utah Cousins. June 16, 2010

Jordan's sister and her family came to visit us while they were house hunting. I had more pictures from their visit, but they somehow got deleted or lost in the ether. These are pretty much the only ones I had left. I'm bummed, but it was so nice to see them.

This is Jordan's sister Eliora. She's so much fun to hang out with.

Uncle Abe, the awesome print artist. He's so amazing, and when Jordan gets his website up and running I'll definitely link to it. Go Abe! Aislin even named one of her buddies, a lizard, after him.

Cousin Juniper is such a ham. This kid has lots of personality and she's also creative.

Cousin Sequoia is 2 weeks older than Aislin. She's such a doll and so smart.

We are so glad you guys are moving closer, even though it's all the way in Logan! We can't wait to see you guys again!

Happy Napper. June, 10, 2010

This is usually how I find Aislin when she wakes up from a nap. She loves her buddies and will play with them for hours.

Hair Bands. June 1, 2010

Aislin loves her headbands, which she calls, "Hair Bands." She will run around the house and put all of them on her head at once.

Here she just checked herself out in the mirror on the door.

She is quite pleased.

She will literally wear them all, all day long. Jordan calls them brain sqeezers and doesn't like for her to wear them too long.

I just think she's hilarious, and very fashion forward.
