31weeks/7Months!!

Well, we are still counting down to the big day. Only 2 months left. I still can't believe how fast this is going by. It seems just like yesterday I was buying a pregnancy test at the dollar store. Everyone keeps telling me these last two months will drag by.
I know this last week did. I woke up on Monday and was super sick. I lost lots of fluids through out the day. I was in so much back pain and so weak that I decided to lay in the hallway to make the trips back and forth to the bathroom easier.
Jordan came home from work and saw me in the hallway and was totally freaked. I asked him to call the Midwife because my back was hurting so bad and I wasn't able to move much. She wanted us to go to the ER because she thought I could be in pre-term labor. Not good.
Jordan helped me get dressed and took me. They admitted me and strapped the fetal and contraction monitors on my belly. There were no signs of contractions. Whoo hoo!. I was given a couple bags of fluids through an IV and some Tylenol for the back pain. After 4 hours we finally saw the on-call Doctor and he said it was probably food poisoning or some bug going around and that I just was super dehydrated and it was good I came in to get the fluids I needed. If I hadn't, I could have gone into labor..... I felt much better after getting the IV.
While we were there and waiting, Jordan called his friend Luke to come and give me a Blessing. It was very comforting to know that the baby fine and that everything will go according to plan with this pregnancy. I'm so very thankful for the Priesthood and for my wonderful husband who took such great care of me through the whole thing. He is my rock.
We were able to go home after talking to the Doctor.
I felt so much better the next morning, but just weak....
We thought I had food poisoning until Jordan became sick Wednesday afternoon with the same thing I had only he vomited so hard and so many times that he broke blood vessels in his face. Poor guy, I'm just glad that I was feeling good enough to take care of him this time. He slept all day and I made sure he didn't let himself get dehydrated like I did. He was feeling a bit better that night. And much better by Friday.

Wednesday before Jordan came down with what I had, we had a prenatal appointment with the Midwife. I lost another 2 pounds this time, but I'm sure that's due to being so ill. The Midwife isn't worried about it at all...Not sure if that's good or what...
Anyway, The baby looks good, she is still head down, smart girl, and has a strong heartbeat. We are starting our
biweekly appointments now and look forward to it.
She is getting so strong with her movements now, and I am having a harder time sleeping. She likes to kick the bed on the side I'm sleeping on. She also enjoys kicking my bladder. Last night was neat because she had the hiccups and they were so strong Jordan got to feel the rhythm of them. Jordan is always amazed when he sees my belly move or gets to feel her pushing on his hand. He just can't wait to see and hold her.
In other news, we started our Bradley classes on Tuesday night. For those who don't know that they are.... It is a birthing method that is also called Husband Coached Childbirth. It was a neat thing to get together with four other couples at our instructors home and learn some relaxation techniques and exercises to help prepare for birth. It is normally a 12 week class, but because we are all due the end of August or beginning of September (including the instructor) she is combining the first 2 classes and second 2 classes into one class. This way we have 10 classes and all should probably make it to the end. The last class is 2 days before my due date!
I hope you all enjoyed this update..... I'll try to do better in the future!
