6 Months!

I just can't believe it's been six months already. Aislin is learning more everyday. Here are some fun facts about Aislin:
She is such a spunky little girl and definitely has opinions. She will fuss if she drops a toy or if I walk away from her to do a chore that needs to be done. So I usually just bring her along and let her sit in the Bumbo, even though it is getting quite tight on her thighs...
She is still sleeping only 3 hours at the most at night, then wakes up every 2 hours until 8am, then we get up for the day.
She loves to play with her daddy's hair, there is just something about his curls that she loves to play with.
She is happy most of the time and will laugh at all kinds of random things.
She is unsure about strangers and will cry when most people hold her. She has her select few people that she doesn't mind.
She has started to say "Mama" with a purpose now. She just learned how to say it, and would just say it over and over when she cried, but now she has looked at me and said it once.
Jordan and I think she weighs about 19lbs now, although we won't know until I buy a bathroom scale.
We are still waiting on solids and probably will for a couple more months and then reevaluate. Since there are food allergies in the family, we though it best. Plus, I have done some research and found out that babies don't actually need anything besides Mama's Milk for the first year of life. She is obviously not starving to death and is happy as a clam to nurse.
She has become more dexterous and can pass toys from one hand to the other, and has for a while now.
Well, I think that's about it.

I meant to say smart baby but I was thinking about the word she was saying and typed mommy.

How cute! And how smart for you to write this all down. I only wish I did that! I mean hello, I still need to be doing such things and fail. Thanks for the reminder. She's a doll!

Does she have any teeth yet? It's good you are waiting awhile to start solids...

She doesn't have any teeth yet, but they sure have been causing her some upset. Hopefully they will break the gums soon.
