When we got to the zoo, the bird show was about to start, so we hurried over and found a spot to watch. Aislin was serious about waiting, and she just had to wear Daddy's hat.
We saw this weird looking animal, that I can't remember the name of. But it came up to the window and just sat there while Aislin watched it.
Aislin loved the Carousel. She didn't want to get off when it was over.
It was such a hot day when we went that they had a giant fan with water spraying out of it. It was such a nice mist, that cooled us off.
Aislin was a little scared of it at first, then she couldn't get enough of it.
Her very favorite part of the zoo was the train. Since we live right next to a railroad crossing, we see lots of trains from our balcony. Which has made Aislin a huge fan. She was SO excited to ride the train.
The zoo has this giant black rock globe that is held up by water and you can spin if you push on it. Aislin liked it, but was more interested in the water.
